Description: |
Annapolis Rock is ~2.2 miles from the parking lot on Rt. 40. The majority of the trip to Annapolis Rock is moderate up hill. Once at the rock there were great views of the valley below. Annapolis rock is only 1/4 mile off the AT. A mountain spring is a few hundred yards past Annapolis Rock providing fresh spring water. This area is a popular destination for climbers and campers. Future Rock climbing trips to Annapoils Rock are being planned.
